Information on Stereo Speakers

Stereo speakers provide two audio channels, usually known as "left" and "right". By having two channels, an audio illusion is created that makes sounds appear to come from different directions.
     Modern high-performance systems often provide a surround-sound capability as the basis of a home theater (or home cinema) system.
