Information on ECP

An ECP provides the change management vehicle by which a change request is considered.
     As a minimum, an ECP should contain the following information:
     1) Statement outlining the change
     2) Reasons for the change
     3) Alternatives available
     4) Preferred alternative detail
     5) Impact of the change especially interface impacts
     6) Draft design documentation reflecting the change
