Information on HMI
The HMI is an important human factors
focus for designers who have to understand the allocation of
functions to the machine and to the human operator as
well as be able to define the interface between the
two sets of functions. There are few systems that do
not have humans as a significant subsystem, so the human-machine
interface is critical in most projects.
