Information on SEDS

The SEDS is a detailed schedule of the work required to accomplish the complete technical systems engineering effort required to develop the system. The Systems Engineering Detailed Schedule allows a detailed examination of the work progress as well as of the technical parameters chosen for monitoring. The SEDS flows from the Systems Engineering Master Schedule. Unlike the Systems Engineering Master Schedule which is event-based, however, the SEDS is schedule-based.

Other topics in our resources on Systems Engineering related to SEDS include:

  • Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
  • Systems Engineering Master Schedule (SEMS)
  • Technical Risk Management
