Information on Functional Architecture

The functional architecture of a system is a hierarchical arrangement of the systems functions; external functional interfaces; functional, performance and verification requirements; and design constraints. A functional architecture is the principal product of Conceptual Design and is described in the System Specifications as part of the Functional Baseline.
