Integrated logistics support (ILS) is a management function focused on assuring that the user will receive a system that will not only meet performance requirements, but can be supported throughout its lifecycle.
     Integrated logistics support effort is traditionally broken into ten different areas of focus:
     Engineering Support
     Maintenance Planning
     Supply Support
     Support and Test Equipment
     Maintenance Personnel
     Training and Training Support
     Technical Data
     Facilities
     Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation
     Computer Support
