Information on Product Baseline

The Product Baseline is the result of the Detailed Design and Development stage of the system lifecycle. The principal component of the Product Baseline is the series of Product Specifications from which the system is to be developed or procured. In addition to the Product Specifications, the Product Baseline may also contain the system hardware and software. A Product Baseline can exist for each subsystem, module and component.
