Information on Risk Management Plan

A Risk Management Plan documents the risk management process as well as the findings of the risk identification, risk analysis and technical risk management activities. While the acquirer may have a Risk Management Plan, the major Risk Management Plan for the system development is normally written by the contractor and reviewed by the acquirer in accordance with conditions outlined in the contract.
The Risk Management Plan must be reviewed periodically (normally at design reviews) to ensure that the plan is current.
