Information on Collaboration

Collaboration is often used interchangeably with teamwork or partnership, and similar in meaning to the word cooperation. Collaboration means simply to work together on a joint project or to work together toward mutual benefits and ends. The idea is to leverage complementary skills and knowledge. People have varying orientations to collaboration and effective collaboration depends on and demonstrates a range of behaviours and skills. See Team Collaboration Inventory (TCI).
