Information on Effectiveness in Breakdowns

"Effectiveness in Breakdowns" is one of the nine dimensions of the high-performance team wheel.
Effectiveness in Breakdowns concerns a team’s ability to deal with conflict and problems that disrupt and impede team functioning and productivity. A High-Performance Team has the skills and discipline to turn breakdowns into breakthroughs.
Team turns breakdowns into breakthroughs. Team members learn from successes and failures. They possess the skills and employ methods to convert conflict and problems into solutions. Team members are quick to recognise and call breakdowns, and to initiate an intervention. When breakdowns are not dealt with positively, you’ll see team-work falling apart, individuals blaming others, progress coming to a halt, people focusing on their own tasks and agendas, and in-ability or unwillingness to communicate.
