Information on Leadership Character
Leadership character defines who a leader is and provides
a basis for that leader to act. All leaders should
therefore understand the nature of leadership character and its
role in leadership.
There are two main elements of leadership
character: leadership values and leadership attributes. Leadership values are
that part of leadership character that relate to concepts
and beliefs about how important issues, what is right and
wrong, and so on. Leadership attributes are that part of
leadership character that relate to loyalty, duty, respect, integrity,
and so on.
