Information on Leadership Role

The leadership role is the role adopted by an individual as the leader of a team or organisation. The leadership role can be undertaken in a number of ways. First, a leadership role may be placed on an individual who is formally designated the leader of a team. A leadership role may also be adopted naturally (without any formal intervention) by an individual in a team as the team progresses with its task. Finally, the leadership role may switch between individuals in the team as the team changes roles and tasks.
