Information on Team Action Planning

Action Planning helps teams to move from problem-solving and decision-making to action. It is detailed planning, defining who is going to do what, when, and how. Action Planning—and commitment to the plans—is necessary for coordination and to ensure that the products of multiple streams of effort come together at the right time.
To be effective, all teams must learn to solve problems and make decisions as a group. They must also be able to move from problem solving and decision making to action. Action Planning helps them to make the shift from problem solving and decision making to action.
