Information on Team Mission

The team mission is a central aspect of teamwork and performance, and an important part of the Team Charter. The mission or purpose describes what the team must do and why it exists. The team mission statement must be specific enough to cover the breadth and depth of the work required of the team. Team goals generally flow from the team’s mission, or at least are consistent with it.
