Information on Team Vision

Team Vision is an element of the high-performance team charter.
Every team should have a vision of what it could be, where it really wants to go. A vision statement is a narrative created by the team, and periodically revisited, that provides a clear and compelling view of the future.
A team vision is a narrative statement created by the team that concisely and compellingly articulates the desired future state (TO BE). The vision may contain elements of Quality of Work Life and relationships as well as descriptions of what makes the team special and unique. The vision intends to serve as the beacon toward which the team will continually strive and against which it might measure its progress. In general, a vision shows you the end, but not the way; it describes the final destination, but does not tell you how to get there.
