Information on The Decision Making Process
The decision making process involves making a selection from
among alternative courses of action. The decision making process
begins with identifying and defining a problem, then generating a
series of alternative solutions and evaluating them. Implementation and evaluation
of the implementation provide feedback into the next cycle of
the decision making process.
In a self-directing team, the team
itself takes on an important role within the organisation's decision
making process. An effective decision making process implies an engagement
with the members of the team.
