Planners are useful time management tools that allow activities to
be planned and scheduled without conflicting. Planners can have a
number of levels of resolution. For detailed planning, daily planners
could list the activities planned for the day, perhaps at
hourly intervals. For a broader view, a weekly planner
could list the activities on a day-to-day basis throughout the
week. For a high-level view, monthly planners or yearly planners
could list major activities, perhaps based on an aggregation of
the information in each weekly planner.
