Information on AM Transmitter

An AM transmitter transmits and amplitude modulated (AM) signal. Commercial AM transmitters are often found in the low frequency (LF) and medium frequency (MF) bands. An AM transmitter offers the advantage of bandwidth efficiency and low-cost receivers compared to an FM transmitter.
