Information on GPS Receiver

A GPS receiver is designed to receive signals from GPS satellites, and to process these signals to provide geolocation information. The number of satellites that can be received simultaneously depends on the type of GPS receiver. Generally, a larger number of satellites allows a more accurate estimate of position.
