Information on Interface Definition Language

The Interface Definition Language is used to define the interfaces between CORBA objects. Interface Definition Language defines the operations that can be requested through each interface, along with its input and output parameters. An important property of Interface Definition Language is that the interface definition is independent of hardware, operating system and programming language.
     Interface Definition Language is a standard of the OMG.
