Information on Unified Modeling Language
Unified Modeling Language is a specification for
modelling software architectures (especially distributed software architectures). The main role
of Unified Modeling Language is to provide an effective means
of managing the complexity in the design of large software
systems, and aiding communication within the design team.
Unified Modeling Language,
along with Meta-Object Facility (MOF), and XML Metadata Interchange (XMI),
is a product of the OMG.
