Information on CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture)

CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) provides an architecture for interoperability between components of a distributed software system, possibly running of different platforms from a range of manufacturers and using different operating systems and programming languages. A key aspect of COBA is the "interface broker" through which the components communicate.
