Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is the most commonly used protocol
in the Internet, and is used by browsers for requesting
web pages and by servers for returning responses.
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is one of many protocols used in the
Internet. Other commonly used Internet protocols include FTP (File Transfer
Protocol), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and POP (Post Office
Protocol).
