Information on UML (Unified Modeling Language)
UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a specification for
modelling software architectures (especially distributed software architectures). The main role
of UML is to provide an effective means
of managing the complexity in the design of large software
systems, and aiding communication within the design team.
UML,
along with Meta-Object Facility (MOF), and XML Metadata Interchange (XMI),
is a product of the OMG.
