Information on UTF-8
UTF-8 is an eight-bit character set commonly used in
web applications. UTF-8 preserves the full US-ASCII character set.
UTF-8 is only of a number of transformation formats
used to generate eight-bit characters as an alternative to the
multi-octet Unicode characters defined by ISO/IEC 10646-1.
