Information on Well-formed XML Document

A well-formed XML document is one that is syntactically correct. A valid XML document must always be a well-formed XML document.
     In a well-formed XML document, there must be exactly one root node, each tag (other than an empty tag) must be matched with a corresponding end tag, all elements must be correctly nested and all attributed values must be explicitly quoted.
